Lisa St. Louis serves as Academic Program Director for the Master's of Education, Education Specialist, Post-Bachelor's Certificates and Post-Master's Certificates in the Sanford College of Education, National University. She is a full professor, dissertation chair, and subject matter expert. Her previous positions include Dean of Liberal Arts at Grand Canyon University and Dean of Arts and Science at Robert Welch University. She holds degrees in classical studies and leadership in higher education from Trinity College, University of Toronto; Corpus Christi College, Oxford; the University of Ottawa; and Northcentral University. She has conducted research in classical studies, medieval manuscripts, the history of classical education, the use of games in online learning, online foreign language instruction, and the online learning experience of students with disabilities. She participates regularly in diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, and her passion is advocating for the needs of online students with disabilities. She is the recipient of the 2024 full-time excellence in teaching award for the Sanford College of Education.
