La Jolla, Calif. – National University’s School of Business and Management announced the winners of the inaugural Peak Performance Awards today, including the San Diego Family Justice Center and Family Justice Center Alliance, Aegis Electronic Group, Inc., Scripps Health, RBF Consulting, Palomar Pomerado Health Care, Northrop Grumman and ARINC.
The Peak Performance Awards recognize organizations that have demonstrated a strong commitment their mission, core values, customers and employees, and the ability to sustain profitability over a measured period of time.
“These organizations have set themselves apart from their peers and competitors by sustaining a level of performance,” said Dr. Thomas Green, Provost of National University. “Their commitment to their customers and employees has made them ideal examples of Peak Performing organizations.”
The award ceremony was preceded by a presentation by the authors of the book The Art of the Turnaround: Defining Management in Leadership, by Don Zillioux and Darrell Luery.
The seven winners were selected from 29 finalists from a pool of more than 90 nominees. Finalists were judged by a distinguished panel of local business and community leaders, including Barbara Warden (President of the Downtown San Diego Partnership and former City Councilmember), Brent Wilsey (Wilsey Asset Management), Don Zilliouz, Ph.D. (Strategic Development Worldwide), Eileen Heveron, Ph.D. (National University), George Chamberlin and Joe Guerin (San Diego Daily Transcript).
