La Jolla, Calif. – National University provides more master’s degrees in education to Asian Americans than any other college or university in California, according to Black Issues in Higher Education.
In total, National University conferred 112 master’s degrees in education to Native Americans in the 2002-2003 academic year, which also places it among the top three U.S. colleges and universities in that category. Black Issues in Higher Education published its annual rankings of the top 100 colleges and universities providing graduate degrees to minority students on July 29. Its rankings are based upon data from the U.S. Department of Education.
By specific disciplines, National University ranks among the top three in California in conferring master’s degrees in psychology to Asian Americans, and ranks among the top 15 in California in granting Asian Americans master’s degrees in business, management and marketing.
