La Jolla, Calif. – The National University System earned four Gold Awards and one Silver Award from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District VII 2004 Awards for Excellence competition.
CASE is widely regarded as the premier professional association for educational advancement in the United States, and is dedicated to enhancing the effectiveness of alumni relations, communications, and fund-raising professionals who serve institutions of higher education. CASE District VII represents colleges and universities in Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada and Utah.
The National University System Communications Group was recognized for “outstanding communications” in four categories: (1) student recruitment publications; (2) photography; (3) illustration; and (4) posters.
The System Communications Group was recognized with two Gold Awards for its National University Virtual High School brochure, in the categories of “student recruitment publications” and “photography.” The System Communications Group’s “Legacies of the Holocaust” poster was also recognized with two Gold Awards, in the categories of “illustration” and “posters.” Another poster, “Contemporary Black Women’s Lives” earned a Silver Award in the category of “posters.”
The National University System has also been recognized nationally by CASE, earning two Gold Medals and a Silver Medal from the organization’s 2003 CASE Circle of Excellence Awards. It is also a 2003 recipient of an Award of Excellence from the University and College Designers Association.
The System Communications Group produces award-winning collateral materials for the System’s eight independent entities.
The National University System was established in 2001 to meet the emerging challenges and demands of education in the 21st Century.
